Our Girl Susan

On February 24, 2024 we lost our dear friend Susan. Despite knowing the eventuality of this moment, it seems unfathomable that she is gone.

Susan immediately fit into our little friend-family. It was like we had known her forever. Susan was thoughtful and kind, always the first to bring flowers or a bottle of wine over to your place. She was incredibly smart and had a wicked sense of humour, which you need around our friends. She loved my girls wholeheartedly. But the thing I loved most was watching the love shared between Susan and Saam.

This isn’t how things were supposed to go. You had so much left to do in this world Susan, so many more adventures to be had. I am forever grateful to have had the time we had together. Thank you for everything that you have brought into our lives.
